We wanted to take a moment to share some heartwarming highlights from our most recent Working Bees. Our gatherings have been filled with laughter, creativity, and of course, some delicious treats!
First and foremost, a huge shoutout to Arthur for surprising us all with his scrumptious scones! 
His ongoing support means the world to us, and to express our gratitude, Margaret, our beloved ‘yarn magnet,’ gifted him a beautiful spider blanket. 
Thank you, Arthur, for your kindness and generosity! We’d also like to acknowledge and thank Woolworths Gungahlin for supplying us with snacks for our workshops and our working bees! 
Linda amazed us with her arms full of snails, all for our WIC toy drive. Your dedication to giving back to the community is truly inspiring, Linda! 
Linfei, you are a star! Your amigurumi skills have come such a long way and we’re so grateful for your help in guiding our new members with their amigurumi projects too. 
Alex has been a rockstar, working on a mountain of squares for a special blanket project, and Mary Ann wowed us with her impeccable handiwork on the Pink Block of the Month rug. 
Sam and Jim, your dedication to making sensory cuffs for both the young and young at heart and sensory muffs is heartwarming. Your creations bring comfort and joy to so many. Keep up the fantastic work! 
We were thrilled to welcome a new member into our community, who is already well on the way to crocheting her first completed item! Your enthusiasm and passion are contagious, and we’re so glad to have you with us. Barb for her stunning rugs and Goodie Dolls and Louise for her lovely rugs and support with our school workshops.
And let’s not forget Kerry, Cat, Colette, Cathy, Debbie, Robyn and Zoe, who continue to craft their incredible sensory toys for the WIC. Your creativity knows no bounds, and your efforts are making a real difference in the lives of others. Thank you!
