What a truly wonderful day we had celebrating World Wide Knit in Public Day at Westfield Belconnen! A huge thank you to the amazing Westfield team for being so welcoming and supportive – your efforts helped create such a fun and inclusive atmosphere for everyone who dropped by. 
It was heartwarming to see so many people enjoying themselves – knitting, crocheting, chatting, and simply connecting. Passersby were so curious and engaged, stopping to learn more about GOG, our community, and the crafts we love. Some wanted to learn to crochet or knit, some shared their own stories, and others just wanted a friendly chat – and we were thrilled to be there for it all. 
What was the biggest hit of the day? The Gogster and Comfort Pillow Competition! 
It was an absolute crowd-pleaser and such a creative way to spark conversations and get people involved. We loved seeing the joy it brought to both participants and spectators. Don’t forget to pop down to The Link, Ginninderry to see the winning entries and a lot more!
