Today, as we have proudly done for the past six years, we continued our tradition of donating our handmade blue flower brooches to nurses across Canberra Health Services as a small token of our appreciation for the care, compassion and dedication they show every single day.
This year, we were honoured to present our brooches to the wonderful nurses at Clare Holland House during a very special lunch we were kindly invited to attend alongside other volunteers. The gathering was held in recognition of both Palliative Care Week and National Volunteer Week, making it an especially meaningful occasion.
A heartfelt thank you to the beautiful team at Clare Holland for the warm invitation and for the incredible work you do in supporting patients and families during some of life’s most tender moments.
To all our amazing GOG Champions and to nurses everywhere, we hope you had a truly wonderful day. Your kindness, strength and care do not go unnoticed
