What an incredible few weeks it’s been at our Dickson meetup! Our group is growing stronger each week, and two weeks ago we reached a brand-new record — 36 wonderful members came along. 
Our Dickson crew has had their hands full (and hearts full!) with so many projects that it’s hard to single any out. The large rugs flowing through this group — and our other meetups — have been warmly welcomed across the ACT hospitals. Alongside them, both the big and small toys continue to bring comfort and smiles wherever they go.
We’re also seeing the impact of the large Gogsters, comfort pillows and animal toys in ICU, with some beautiful feedback coming through that we can’t wait to share. These items are making a real difference to patients, families and staff.
A huge thank you to Northside Community Service for their ongoing support and for providing us with such a generous space. We’re truly growing into it, and it’s become a vibrant, bustling hub of creativity and kindness. And we can’t forget a special shout-out to the lovely member who brought in delicious cakes — plural! — still warm from the oven. They disappeared very quickly and definitely fuelled the creativity!
