On a wintry Canberra day, we were incredibly excited to receive a very special letter, from a very special friend! Sounds like they’ve been on quite adventure… but why don’t we let them tell it?

Hi GOG Family,
Just hopping by to let you know—I’ve been adopted!
It all started at the walk-in centre. I was nestled comfortably in my little box, waiting, watching, wondering who might come along. Then, in came a human with sore, sad fingers. They weren’t even sure if those fingers worked properly anymore.
But guess what? I was the test.
Those fingers reached in and picked me—me!—out of the box. And just like that, the staff saw it: the fingers worked. No need for a hospital trip. Just a rabbit and a little bit of magic.
Now I’m home, hopping about happily, those fingers giving me cuddles. All thanks to your care, your time, and your kindness.
From my twitchy nose to my fluffy tail, thank you, Goodeze volunteers. You helped me find my forever home—and helped someone along the way.
With love,
One Very Grateful Rabbit (and their very lucky human!)

Thank you to the Walk In Centre for making sure this lovely letter reached our door! It’s wonderful to hear how GOG Goodies are helping staff do their work, while bringing a smile to Canberra’s littlest patients.
