Thank you to everyone who came along to our Pink Feast ‘Fun-raiser’! 😉 It was such a fantastic day with everyone who attended getting right into the spirit of the event! Our relatively small group managed to raise $440 for a cause that’s very dear to our hearts here at GoG, so well done everyone and thank you! ❤️
Whilst the afternoon was mostly about games, laughter, fun and, maybe, just a little overloading on sugar, there was still plenty of stitching action going on and yet another lovely range of goodies donated to pass on to the Canberra Hospital.
The games ranged from ‘guess the number of buttons’, a soft toy toss game, competitions to find the fastest ‘hookers’, pass the parcel, ‘Heads and Tails’, speed label sewing, raffles and lucky door prizes … I may have even left something out of that list, but safe to say the room echoed with laughter all afternoon.
There are too many people to thank but special mention has to go to Amanda for donating the two major raffle prizes which included an exquisite hand made shawl, Robin for crocheting together our first ‘Block of the Month’ blanket in time for our ‘Feast’, Barbara for being our official photographer, Zoe for her help ‘backstage’ as well as out front and of course Vicki and Wendy and Marnie!
We’re all looking forward to and already planning next year’s event!! ❤️ ❤️
