Today is 
International Women’s Day, an annual day to celebrate women’s achievements and raise awareness of the work that still needs to happen in order to achieve a world that is equitable, inclusive and free of discrimination 
GOG couldn’t do the work it does without the relentless work, dedication, generosity and compassion of hundreds of women: volunteers, healthcare workers, workshop attendees and everyone working behind the scenes to keep bringing comfort and warmth to the Canberra community.
Today and every day, we say a huge THANK YOU for everything you do. 
This year’s IWD theme urges us to #AccelerateAction and help the world reach full gender parity sooner. Through our workshops, community capacity-building and the amazing female leaders who continue to drive our organisation forward, we are proud of whatever small contribution we can make to this goal
