Our exhibition at The Link @ginninderry yesterday was a great success, with over 30 people joining us for the official opening and many more stopping by throughout the day 
Everyone loved walking around, admiring the incredible works of art and creativity on display.
There was a real buzz as members showed off pieces that either they or their friends made and it was inspiring to hear so many people say, “I really want to make this,” or “I want to learn to do that!”
It was also a lovely opportunity for members from all our different meetups to see the creativity that’s thriving in other groups and celebrate what we do together.
GOG is all about encouraging creativity and play while making with purpose, making for others, and making with love. Events like this really highlight the beautiful connections and talents that grow within our community.
A big thank you to Jess and the Ginninderry Community for the opportunity to showcase our work for the next five weeks — we feel so welcomed and supported. Thank you to @jo_clay_mla for taking the time to drop by the exhibition for a chat and to soak in the creative atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who baked the delicious treats 
and helped set up the space so beautifully and to everyone who came along to celebrate this wonderful event 
Lastly, a huge thank you to ‘Gunners’ and Kath, our Gungahlin WiC Champions, for joining us for the opening and taking the time to produce a great video guiding us through the exhibition – with help from Zoe and Cat.
