Our last couple of meetups at Club Kalina were full of smiles and fun, working to complete some projects for our special session this week – a joyful yarn bombing session! The garden out front is now bursting with colour and creativity thanks to the wonderful projects made by the group and some thoughtful donations from across the GOG community.
The response while we were setting up was an absolute delight – not just from people walking by, but from cars and buses slowing down to admire the vibrant display. It brought smiles all round and reminded us just how powerful a bit of handmade joy can be.
A huge thank you to Community Home Australia and the Club Kalina community for welcoming us so warmly. We’ve absolutely loved spending time together, sharing stories, laughter, and of course, stitches. It’s been such a privilege to be part of this space.
We’ll treasure the memories and friendships made – and we hope our yarny garden brings a smile to all who pass by.
