We are delighted to share the news that Mary was nominated for Australia’s Kindest Person 2026. This is a well-deserved recognition! 
Out of more than 5,000 nominations from across Australia, Mary was selected in the Top 50, which is something to be very proud of. 
This national nomination recognises Mary for the “kindness, compassion, generosity and difference she makes to others.” 
Congratulations to Mary on this nomination and fantastic achievement! 
While Mary was not selected as one of the 15 national finalists, the Top 50 will continue to be recognised and celebrated leading up to the Australia’s Kindest Person Awards Gala later in the year. 
This is a wonderful recognition of the work and kindness that Mary brings to the GOG group and the wider community.
