We absolutely love our Saturdays at Corroboree Park Hall – it’s our only weekend workshop, and it makes the space extra special. It’s the perfect chance for children, people who work during the week, and our “regulars” to come together in a beautiful, nourishing environment.
One of our favourite parts is having our Junior GOG members join in the fun, sharing their creations and showing us what they’ve been working on – it always brings so much joy to see children as young as 8 join us, already showing compassion and a desire to give back to the community through stitching.
A huge thank you to everyone who bakes and brings along slices to share, and to all those who pitch in to support each other – whether it’s helping someone begin their journey or encouraging someone to restart, you make our community shine. And of course, a big thank you to Northside Community Service for providing us with this beautiful space.
Important note for this week:
There will be NO meetup at Corroboree Park Hall this Saturday – 4 Oct. Instead, we’ll be gathering at the Southern Cross Club in Jamison for our annual Pink Ribbon Lunch. We’d love to see you there – please let us know if you’ll be coming so we can confirm numbers with the club.
See you soon, lovely GOG family!
