A handmade blanket can be the warm hug and comfort that someone desperately needs while they’re in hospital. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers for stitching love and caring into every single one 
“Could you please pass on a thank you to the quilt and blanket makers of GOG.
A warm and colourful blanket was given to a 77 year old gentleman today. This gentleman had not wanted to talk on the first visit and had said he had always managed by himself.
He appeared to be struggling emotionally so the gift of a warm blanket on a cold day was the perfect gift. There was no obligation for him to talk and the blanket was placed on the end of his bed, but he expressed his sincere appreciation.”
