We are bringing the ‘crafty chaos’ back to Westfield Belconnen on Saturday, 13 June 2026, from 10am to 3pm – whether you are a seasoned stitcher or a curious beginner, we hope you will join us there!
It wouldn’t feel like Worldwide Knit in Public Day without our Annual GOGster and Comfort Pillow Competition! Fantastic prizes are up for grabs, with entries being judged on creativity and therapeutic value—focusing on how thoughtfully the design provides comfort and support, rather than on technical skill level.
How to enter –
While your creations can be any shape you choose, please keep your designs roughly within 20cm to 30cm.
Drop off your creations to Corroboree Park Hall in Ainslie or take them along to any of our weekly GOG meetups before April 20th.
Your work will be proudly displayed at The Link @Ginninderry prior to the competition and will be donated to ACT Health Services following the competition end, to bring comfort to patients across the ACT Health Services.
To ensure that everyone’s creations get seen, we kindly request that only one GOGster and one comfort pillow be submitted per maker.
We can’t wait to see what you’ve been stitching!
