A simple gift, making a meaningful difference 
One of our sensory mitts brought comfort to a woman living with dementia during her journey home from hospital – keeping her hands busy and easing her mind.
Her daughter (a retired nurse) shared how perfect it was as her mother spent many hours fidgeting with tissues. The best part of the story was after she was safely home and in bed, the little old lady politely but firmly told the officer, that she was not giving the mitt back! He let her know gently for the third time, 
it was a gift she could keep from a special group of his friends.
