Our amazing makers turned drawings created by children in hospital into real-life Gogsters. Seeing their eyes light up as their imaginations came to life was unforgettable.
A massive thank you to the fantastic makers who dropped everything to hand-deliver them. Seeing the kids’ reactions was truly priceless. Walking back to the car, the very first thing they asked was, “Right, what’s our next assignment?” That heart and dedication say it all.
We also extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful hospital school staff for helping facilitate this, and to the parents for accommodating us during what must be such challenging times.
Of course none of this would be possible without the amazing support of Matt at RKDN, who’s put so much work into bringing this idea to life for us, from one brief conversation last year at a Hands Across Canberra event.
