🎉⛄ CHRISTMAS IN JULY⛄🎉

Thinking back to our wonderful Christmas in July lunch, as we wrap up the month 🎄 Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special afternoon - the smiling faces say it all!! 🥰🎉🧶 After another freezing cold start (in true Christmas in July spirit ⛄), a lovely group of GOG members, old and new, came together on Sunday to celebrate 🌲Christmas in July🌲 at the Dickson Tradies.

As the sun came through the windows, the untiring Jenny led us through multiple Christmas-themed games and auctions … and some very bad/ excellent punny jokes! 🎄😂

Big thank you to Mission Stitchin', the lovely Kerry and the chook queen Lynn for their fabulous donations for the auctions 🎁😍😍 There were some very proud and happy auction winners! The money from the auctions will go to supplies for the fabulous Mission Stitchin' crew 💜💚💜💚

A special thanks too, to Shelley, who decided to test us hard with a fiendish Christmas Trivia Quiz! 😼 Congratulations to Deidre who came home the winner!! 🏆 A flash Christmas word search quiz was won by Barbara in just 37 seconds 💪💪

As always there was much laughter, learning, sharing of stories and ideas, and being Christmas in July, hearty meals enjoyed by all around the table 🥰 It was lovely to see another donations-laden table of wonderful Goodies that will find their way to our wonderful health care services to bring comfort, warmth and smiles to patients, and maybe a few staff too! 🧶🎁💜💚
