Instead of sharing feedback from someone who has received one of our handmade gifts, this week we’re sharing something a little different – our 2024/25 Impact Snapshot, beautifully designed by our wonderful supporters at RKDN. It captures, at a glance, the incredible difference our GOG community has made across the many hospitals, health services and community organisations we support.
When you stop and look at these numbers, it’s hard to believe they come from a relatively small community of volunteers. But what we may lack in size, we more than make up for with passion, generosity, creativity and kindness. Every knitted, crocheted and hand-stitched item represents hours of care, shared skills and a desire to brighten someone’s day during a difficult time.
To every volunteer, mentor, supporter, sponsor, workshop host and donor – thank you. This impact belongs to all of you. Your dedication has made an enormous difference to thousands of people in our community, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved together.
Here’s to another year of stitching with purpose and changing lives, one handmade gift at a time.
