There was a touch of Halloween and a whole lot of creativity on show at another fabulous Good Omen Goodeze working bee as members stitched, ate and chatted their way through the afternoon.
As well as Mary giving us an update on GOG developments and the ‘most wanted’ goods requested … blankets/goodies in indigenous colours and also in ‘male’ colours (including footy colours) are in high demand, it was lovely to hear from Kath who works in Canberra Hospital ICU, and is the chief point of contact for GOG, about the amazing impact GOG’s handcrafted goodies can have on people who are often at their most vulnerable while in ICU.
As always the amazing pile of handcrafted creations that will be passed onto the Canberra Hospital was testament to the generosity and skill of members.
