Strathnairn School Yarn Club is so proud to share the mini Gogsters we have spent the last 8 weeks creating! Inspired by GOG’s Art with Heart exhibition, our incredible GOG helpers came up with this creative idea, did all the prep, and taught the children every step of the way. It has been extra special because the students got to use skills they learned in the yarn club last term, like plaiting and Pom Pom making, while also learning new techniques like stitching, to bring their Gogsters to life.
As a brand-new school, establishing the yarn club with GOG has been really special, and having those dedicated volunteers show up every Friday means so much to our students and school community! Thank you!
