KNIT OR CROCHET SQUARES FOR GOG
If you would like to contribute squares to GOG, we prefer squares that are made from 8 ply yarn and are 15cm x 15cm square (approx 6inches). These can be either crocheted or knitted. If crocheting squares, continue crocheting a ‘granny square’ until the size reaches 15cm. If you are knitting squares, the number of stitches and rows varies, but generally for 8 ply yarn, you would be required to cast on 44 stitches and knit 60 rows.
KNIT OR CROCHET A BLANKET FOR GOG
If you would like to crochet or knit a blanket/rug for GOG, our preferred size is approx 1.2m x up to 1.5m. We sometimes have requests for larger blankets, so if you would be happy to make larger rugs please let us know.
